| Fabrics
and textiles manufactured with Baumüller
technology — it carries out many and diverse
tasks in the textile industry, whether in modular
systems or centralized machine concepts, such
as weaving looms or embroidery machines that operate
with short cycle times and can quickly be adapted
to new products.
|
From extruding
and stretching in fibre production via processing,
e.g. in weaving, knitting or embroidering,
up to finishing: Baumüller is the automation
partner of the textile machinery industry.
Baumüller accompanies the machine
manufacturer through the complete life cycle
of the machine, starting with the planning
via engineering of hardware and software
up to the commissioning and worldwide service.
|
|
As the system partner, Baumüller provides
the machine manufacturer with a complete and,
in particular, with an economical drive system.
Add to this a complete automation concept from
the control to the intelligent drive with technology
modules, such as the cam disk or winder function.

| Future-oriented
textile machines must meet the constantly
growing demands of flexibility and functionality.
On top of that, it is required for completely
different applications, such as knitting
and drawing
.
Dynamics and flexibility coupled with improved
user-friendliness and product quality are
always the general framework for the automation
system.

Flexible
machine concepts
The intelligent drives from Baumüller
are the basis for modular designed systems
and flexible machine concepts. The user
benefits from a lower investment risk. Modular
concepts with single drive technology and
decentralized intelligence allow for a flexible
response to new and changed market requirements.
This ensures high flexibility in the configuration
of the machine, shortens the manufacturing
and commissioning and ensures retrofitting
and expansion that is tailored to the needs
of the market.

 |
| As
a partner of the textile industry, Baumüller
offers complete sector-oriented drive systems,
from IPC and HMI via converter and controller
to dynamic servomotors all from a single
source. Completely wired control cabinets
are a part of the performance spectrum for
the textile industry just like sophisticated
and customer-specific service concepts.
The motion control concept based on the
PLCopen standard moves the user’s
manufacturing process and the machine functionality
to the foreground. This concept allows the
machine manufacturer to concentrate on machine-specific
future-oriented technologies and continuous
development of its machine functionalities
in programming. The motion functionality
is designed only from a technological perspective
according to the PLCopen motion control
standard with libraries function module.
The programming languages use the IEC
61131 as standard. The system functionalities
for motion and drive management as well
as fieldbus communication are already integrated
in the operating environment of the Baumüller
b maXX automation systems by means of the
communication or motion manager. |
